Dance contest “Strength of Nine Men” | RIGA
Thursday, July 11, at 5 p.m. marks the second time for the Dance Contest taking place in the framework of the International Dance Festival “Sudmaliņas”. The contestants will be evaluated by an international jury: Rita Spalva (Latvia), Paul Bobkov (Estonia), Loida Grau (Spain), Volodymyr Grek (Ukraine), and Jānis Ērglis (Latvia).
The participants of the contest come from Indonesia, India, Cyprus, Poland, Serbia, Chile, Estonia, Russia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, and Latvia. Each dance group will perform two dances based on the national choreographic and musical heritage.
