Closing concert “Hide Behind Nine Keys” | LIEPAJA
On Sunday, July 14 at 6.30 p.m. the participants of the festival “Sudmaliņas” will join the festival parade from Liepāja Seaside Park (at the end of Kūrmāja Prospect) to the square next to the concert hall “Great Amber” – a venue hosting the closing concert “Hide behind Nine Keys” at 7 p.m.
At the concert, foreign and Latvian dance groups will offer the audience dance fragments from their programmes, but the dancers from Liepāja, under the direction of the choreographer Jānis Purviņš, will present a special Courlanders’ gift for all the festival participants.
The winners of the Dance Contest will be awarded at the closing concert. As a farewell, all the participants will join in Latvian traditional dance “Sudmaliņas”.
