About media activities during the VIII International Folk Dance Festival ‘Sudmaliņas’
From July 2 to July 7, 2016 in Rīga, Jūrmala, Jelgava and Pilsrundāle there will be held the VIII International Folk Dance Festival - Contest ‘Sudmaliņas’. To obtain media accreditation, please apply by completing a questionnaire.
After completion of the electronic questionnaire, the festival press cards can be received in the Latvian National Centre for Culture in Rīga, Pils laukums 4, 3rd floor:
from June 28 to July 1 from 10.00 to 17.30;
from July 4 to July 7 from10.00 to 16.00.
Several festival events are free of charge. Entrance fee to the Dance ensemble concert ‘Deju soļi pasauli iegriež’ (Dance steps set the world in motion) in Rundāle Palace park in accordance with the price list of the venue. Entrance to the festival Opening event – World dance concert in Dzintari Concert Hall in Jūrmala and to the Final concert ‘Pasaules vēji mūsu dejās’ (World winds in our dances) in Jelgava, Pasta sala (Pasta Island) with tickets (www.bilesuparadize.lv). For media representatives, entrance to these events on presenting the festival press card is free!
